How long does it take?
Generally despatch is within 1-2 business days. Transit times would depend on location and shipping option selected as well as delivery companies’ workload.

Click & Collect (Temporarily unavailable) from our Bayswater warehouse usually available next business day. A $2.50 service fee will be charged for C&C orders. Large orders are not available for C&C. Photo-ID is required for C&C. Pickup times are limited and shown during checkout. Orders uncollected after 14 days will be automatically refunded.
Free Shipping is only available for Melbourne Metro orders over $250.
Regular shipping via Australia Post or Sendle is for all orders Australia Wide. Cost vary by location.
Express shipping via Australia Post or Courier. The cost will be calculated live online based on order size and delivery address. Next business day delivery not guaranteed. Cut off time to order for same day despatch is 9.30am.
Same day shipping (Temporarily Unavailable) . Available for Melbourne Metro areas only. The cost will be shown on checkout. Someone needs to be home to sign for the package. Cutoff time to order for Same day shipping is 10am. Not available on weekends or public holidays.
Signature on Delivery. All our deliveries must be signed for. Due to risk of theft and fraud, we are unable to accept requests for leaving parcel unattended.
Wrong Shipping Address
We are not responsible for wrong address provided. Please ensure your shipping address is correct prior to submitting your order. If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address, your order will be refunded minus the shipping fee.
Incorrect Shipping Details. Once an order is placed, in most cases it is not possible for us to alter / make corrections to shipping addresses. We will need to cancel the order so you can place a new one with the correct shipping details.
Returns and refunds are accepted in the event wrong item is delivered. Window of return is 30 days from order date.
Change of Mind Returns. If you purchased the item by mistake or have simply changed your mind, you can return the product to us unopened at your own cost. A 15% restocking fee applies for change of mind returns. Please contact us by email for further instructions.
Buildandplay.com.au is a toy store and our products are sold for the purpose of playing. Returns are offered if products received are unfit for intended purpose which is building or playing.
Product boxes may show signs of wear from storage as well as handling. Creased or dented boxes does not deem the contents are not playable. If the product is fit for purpose of play, no returns or refunds.
Exchanges are offered at our discretion. Window of exchange is 30 days from order date.
Terms for exchanges.
1. Store credit with 1 year expiry will be offered for use to reorder exchange item.
2. Cost of return to be paid by buyer.
3. Return products must be returned in good condition, in its original shipping box. If the original shipping box has been disposed, a suitable sturdy shipping box must be used. Items must not be returned using satchels or bags to avoid damage. 20% restocking fee applies for items not returned using sturdy packaging.
4. Sturdy shipping box can be purchased at a cost of $15 inclusive of postage.
5. Only the cost of the product will be offered as credit for exchange. All postage costs will not be offered as credit.
Missing pieces. If your set has a missing part, you can request for missing pieces from LEGO or from us. It is not necessary to return the entire product as missing pieces can be ordered.
